The international early years curriculum (IEYC) offered by Little Chipper International is a globally recognized, scientifically designed curriculum for children below the age of 6 years. The curriculum is carefully designed to help foster love for learning and is based on four main learning strands:
- Independence & Interdependence
- Communicating
- Enquiring
- Healthy Living & Physical Well Being
We believe that every child is different and learns differently. Our schools philosophy allows us to embrace different types of learning preferences for children and help develop each one to their full potential.
Educational Philosophy
We believe that children best learn through rich experiences rather than activities. Inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach, exploration & play are central to our educational philosophy. We make our toddlers active participators in their own learning and give them the choice to pick their preferred style of learning. We believe that learning best takes place when a child experiences something new. For the same reason, we work towards enabling new environments, activities, and opportunities for toddlers to get this rich experience in small groups.
Preparing our Future Leaders:
IEYC is officially affiliated and echoes the 16 sustainability goals identified by the United Nations. We believe that our future leaders must be aware, passionate problem solvers that have a leadership mindset. Our curriculum and our method of implementation helps us instil these values in our future changemakers.
Technology at School
Our main learning zones have digital interactive panels and our kindergarten program are equipped with tablets. We also believe that it is important for our children to be comfortable to use technology in the rightful ways and hence children are exposed to STEM, digital art, simple machines and even engage with artificial intelligence activities at school.
Support Curriculums:
Writing: Authored by our founder, our writing program is India’s 1st published pre-writing program for toddlers and is listed among best sellers among leading book retailers.
The school has also licenced support curriculums to facilitate their early reading and phonetics program.
